When I was looking for old interesting books at a shop in Vienna, I came across some old maps from the area the former dynamite factoryis located at. Interesting to see how many buildings there once were and how many still remain. Thusfar, after having visited the site several times, I could only find 5. The office building, a small building to the South, a building to the North-East and two bunkers to the East. With the old maps I hope to find more remains. It would also be interesting to know what the buildings in fish-bone shape in the woods to the South-West were. They do not appear on the 1939 map nor on the 2001 map. They might have been used for emergency housing after WW2 and been torn down since... | |
